This is a site agnostic position viable for all US hub site locations.

As the Director - Amazon, you will lead the strategic vision, commercial execution, and P&L growth for Mars Snacking across one of our most critical global digital commerce channels. Operating at the forefront of the 3D (Data, Digital, and DCOM) organization, you will translate enterprise-wide priorities into high-impact go-to-market strategies, driving category leadership, sustainable market share expansion, and profitable multi-year revenue growth.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will champion customer relationship excellence at senior levels while inspiring, coaching, and scaling a high-performing digital sales team. If you are an enterprise-minded commercial leader passionate about scaling iconic brands, unlocking data-driven growth, and shaping the future of digital snacking, this role offers the platform and scope to make a lasting impact.

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience); Master's Degree / MBA is a plus preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of progressive commercial experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or E-Commerce/Digital Commerce (CPG/FMCG or retail background strongly preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of direct people leadership experience with a proven track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Senior Commercial & E-Commerce Leadership: Proven track record leading digital commerce / pure-play accounts (Amazon 1P/3P strongly preferred) within CPG or related retail sectors.
  • Strategic P&L & Trade Management: Deep financial acumen with hands-on experience managing multi-million dollar P&Ls, customer trade investments, joint business planning (JBP), and ROI optimization.
  • People Leadership & Talent Development: Demonstrated success in building, coaching, and retaining high-caliber commercial teams while cultivating strong succession pipelines.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical Acumen: Advanced capability to translate complex digital shelf metrics, consumer insights, search data, and operational analytics into high-impact growth strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Influence & Senior Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust, align priorities, and influence across Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Enterprise Leadership.
  • Operational & Supply Chain Execution: Strong command of e-commerce supply chain dynamics, demand forecasting, inventory health (in-stock rates, chargebacks), and speed-to-market execution.


Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
  • Direct experience navigating Amazon-specific media/search ecosystems and retail media networks.
  • Experience leading commercial transformations in a matrixed global enterprise.


What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Drive Multi-Year Strategic Growth: Lead the annual and multi-year Go-to-Market (GTM) business planning for Amazon across Mars Snacking categories to achieve sales, share, and P&L targets.
  • Build Executive-Level Customer Partnerships: Serve as the senior strategic lead with Amazon, establishing collaborative, fact-based joint business plans and role-modeling best-in-class customer management.
  • Lead Commercial & Assortment Excellence: Direct total portfolio execution across pricing, promotional architecture, digital shelf optimization, and seasonal merchandising to maximize conversion and profitability.
  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly across Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Category Insights, and Digital Technology to unlock growth opportunities and accelerate execution.
  • Lead & Scale a High-Performing Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a diverse team of digital commerce professionals, fostering an inclusive, high-accountability culture and robust succession bench.
  • Optimize Forecasting & Operations: Oversee rigorous demand forecasting, business analytics, and operational routines to drive continuous supply chain improvements and minimize operational friction.
  • Govern Trade & Financial Allocations: Maintain rigorous governance over customer trade budgets, retail media investments, and promotional spend to maximize commercial return.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the position and employee's work schedule). Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents, and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also receive the following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee's work schedule): 120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year, and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.
