Full Job Description
Job Description

The Director, Adobe Content Supply Chain Delivery role leads the programs that build those systems. You run the teams, you own the architecture through implementation, and you carry the commercial health of every engagement you lead. You are also the solution lead on the pursuits that create them.

This is a billable delivery role weighted 60 to 70 percent to client work. The design you recommend in a workshop is the design you deliver, so the estimate has to hold up in front of a client CFO and the team that has to build it.

Our clients are in health and life sciences and in manufacturing. In life sciences, the medical, legal, and regulatory review cycle is usually the throughput constraint. In manufacturing, it is product content across thousands of SKUs and dozens of markets, plus a distributor channel that needs the same material in a different form. Neither industry will accept an agent making an unreviewed claim.

Responsibilities

What you will own

The number

  • Margin, realization, and forecast accuracy on the engagements you lead.
  • Your own billability, and the engagement load that keeps it sustainable. One primary program plus one secondary.
  • Estimates. What you scoped, what it took, and the gap closing over time.
  • Follow-on scope out of the work you deliver, with a number attached to it.
  • The solution input that decides whether Perficient wins a pursuit.

Client work

  • Delivery leadership on your engagements. The approach, the governance rhythm with client leadership, and the call when scope, sequence, or capacity has to move.
  • Assessment of how the client produces content today, including everything upstream of Adobe that constrains what Adobe can do.
  • The target-state design across Workfront, GenStudio, Firefly Services, and Experience Manager Assets, built from the client's use cases rather than a reference diagram.
  • Content model, taxonomy, metadata, and migration approach. These decide whether the system holds at scale, and they get settled mid-sprint without escalation.
  • The regulated review path, including medical, legal, and regulatory workflow in life sciences and claims control wherever it applies.
  • Where the agentic layer belongs, including Agent Orchestrator, CX Coworker, Brand Intelligence, and the agent skills catalog, and what has to be true in the content model before any of it works.
  • Human oversight, auditability, and brand governance, shipped with the first release.
  • Consumption and cost modeling for generative capacity, so clients understand the renewal implications of design decisions before they commit to them.
  • The authoring model, including where Edge Delivery Services and DA.live raise publishing velocity and where support and governance requirements rule them out.
  • Migration sequencing that keeps the marketing calendar running while the platform underneath it changes.
  • Executive workshops and design sessions with client marketing and technology leadership.

The capability

  • The Perficient standard for Adobe content supply chain work, and the review that enforces it.
  • Solution review on major pursuits. You are the last look before an estimate reaches a client.
  • The reference architecture, the estimation model, and the accelerators, all built from live delivery rather than theory.
  • The practice position on where Adobe is taking content production, including agentic orchestration and generative production at brand-safe volume.

The team
  • The consultants and architects on your engagements. What you expect, what you tell them directly, and who is ready to move.
  • Staffing judgment about who belongs on which engagement, and input into the delivery mix.
  • Development of the senior people who will lead these programs without you.
  • Hiring, and the bar someone clears to join this practice.

Qualifications

  • Ten or more years in enterprise marketing technology, including at least five delivering Adobe content supply chain solutions in production.
  • Accountability for engagement outcomes on programs you personally led, including margin, realization, forecast accuracy, and client satisfaction.
  • Depth in Experience Manager Assets and Workfront, including asset governance, metadata, and workflow at enterprise scale.
  • Working command of GenStudio, Firefly Services, Express, Frame.io, and Experience Manager Sites, including Edge Delivery Services, with the judgment to know which of them a client needs.
  • Authoring model decisions on Edge Delivery Services, including the tradeoffs across DA.live, document-based authoring, and Universal Editor, and what each one means for governance, localization, and support.
  • Content production at volume, including the operating model change that made it work.
  • Enterprise DAM migrations designed and delivered, including metadata remediation and taxonomy redesign.
  • Adobe integrated with the surrounding estate, including creative tooling, product data systems, translation management, and enterprise content repositories.
  • Complex programs delivered in a consulting environment, where the design you recommended is the design that shipped.
  • Blended, distributed teams led, including offshore and nearshore resources and people who do not report to you.
  • People hired, developed, and promoted.
  • Depth in health and life sciences or in manufacturing content operations, and the willingness to build the second.
  • Executive communication that holds up with a CMO and a CIO in the same room.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for client engagements and business development.

Preferred
  • Agentic or generative AI running in a production content workflow, with results you can substantiate.
  • Hands-on exposure to Agent Orchestrator, CX Coworker, Brand Intelligence, or the agent skills catalog. These are new enough that we are reading trajectory, not years.
  • Medical, legal, and regulatory review workflow design, modular content strategy, and Veeva Vault PromoMats integrated with the Adobe stack.
  • Validated environments, and the constraints GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 place on automated content workflow.
  • Manufacturing product content at scale, including PIM and PLM integration and syndication to distributor and dealer channels.
  • Depth in both industries.
  • Adobe certification at the architect or expert level, with preference for Experience Manager Assets and Workfront.
  • An assessment or advisory offering built and taken to market.
  • Prosci or comparable change management certification.
