Le Directeur(trice) associé(e), Tarification est un rôle stratégique très visible, à l’échelle du portefeuille, au cœur de la façon dont notre fonction canadienne d’accès au marché planifie, fonctionne et exécute. Relevant du directeur, Stratégie de tarification, Contrats et négociation, ce poste sert de principal lien entre la gouvernance mondiale des prix, l’économie de la santé et les réalités des payeurs canadiens.

Le candidat idéal s’épanouira à l’intersection de la modélisation de scénarios à grande échelle et de l’exécution pratique et tactique. Vous serez un membre essentiel de l’équipe Accès des patients pour définir, modéliser et défendre des stratégies de tarification optimisées et des stratégies de contractualisation innovantes à travers notre pipeline et notre portefeuille de produits sur le marché. Ce rôle exige une compréhension technique approfondie de l’évolution des règlements du CEPMB, des cadres de négociation de l’APP, et des structures financières des ententes d’inscription de produits (EIP) avec les payeurs publics et privés.


Principales responsabilités :

  • Diriger l’élaboration, l’évaluation et l’exécution de stratégies nationales de tarification pour les actifs du pipeline, des stades précoces aux stades tardifs, ainsi que la gestion du cycle de vie des produits sur le marché.

  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes mondiales de tarification et les équipes commerciales mondiales afin de veiller à ce que les réalités commerciales canadiennes soient intégrées aux hypothèses mondiales tout en s’alignant sur les exigences et la gouvernance de l’entreprise.

  • Agir à titre d’expert interne en la matière (EEM) sur toutes les lignes directrices du Conseil d’examen du prix des médicaments brevetés (CEPMB), les cadres de conformité et les exigences de déclaration en évolution.

  • Collaborer avec l’équipe Accès au marché pour bâtir et optimiser des cadres nationaux et provinciaux d’ententes d’inscription de produits (EIP) et des modèles d’accès innovants.

  • Travailler de façon transversale afin d’aligner les objectifs de tarification avec les propositions de valeur de la Recherche en économie de la santé et résultats (RESR)

  • Fournir des hypothèses de tarification exactes et stratégiques ainsi que des perspectives sur la causalité financière lors des cycles cruciaux de planification des activités et de prévisions.

  • Agir comme conseiller principal auprès des équipes commerciales locales, en veillant à ce que la dynamique de tarification, les mises à jour du paysage concurrentiel et l’intelligence de marché soient intégrées de façon harmonieuse aux stratégies commerciales plus larges.

  • Travailler avec les équipes mondiales afin d’assurer l’approbation en temps opportun des stratégies de tarification.

Formation et expérience:

  • Baccalauréat en administration, économie, économie de la santé, finance, sciences de la vie, ou dans un domaine quantitatif connexe.

  • 7+ années d’expérience au sein de l’industrie pharmaceutique ou biotechnologique canadienne, avec un accent dédié sur l’accès au marché, la tarification stratégique, les politiques de santé ou les prévisions financières.

  • Compréhension approfondie et vérifiable de l’écosystème canadien de remboursement des médicaments — plus précisément l’interaction entre Santé Canada, l’ACM-ACD, l’INESSS, l’APP et les formulaires de médicaments provinciaux/privés.

  • Expérience pratique démontrée dans la navigation de la déclaration complexe au CEPMB, des structures de conformité et des évaluations des risques.

The Associate Director, Pricing is a high-visibility, portfolio-wide strategic role at the center of how our Canadian market access function plans, operates, and executes. Reporting to the Director, Pricing Strategy, Contracting and Negotiation, this position serves as the core connective tissue between global pricing governance, health economics, and Canadian payer realities.

The ideal candidate will thrive at the intersection of big-picture scenario modeling and practical, tactical execution. You will be a critical member of the Patient Access Team in defining, modeling, and defending optimized pricing and innovative contracting strategies across our pipeline and on-market portfolio. This role requires a deep technical understanding of the evolving PMPRB regulations, pCPA negotiation frameworks, and the financial structures of Product Listing Agreements (PLAs) with public and private payers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, evaluation, and execution of national pricing strategies for early-to-late-stage pipeline assets and lifecycle management of on-market products.

  • Partner closely with Global Pricing Teams and Global Commercial Teams to ensure Canadian commercial realities are integrated into global assumptions while aligning with corporate requirements and governance.

  • Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all Patented Medicine Prices Review Board (PMPRB) guidelines, compliance frameworks, and evolving reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Market Access team to build and optimize national and provincial Product Listing Agreement (PLA) frameworks and innovative access models.

  • Work cross-functionally to align pricing objectives with Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) value propositions

  • Provide accurate, strategic pricing assumptions and financial causality insights during crucial business planning, forecasting cycles.

  • Act as a core advisor on the local Commercial Teams, ensuring that pricing dynamics, competitive landscape updates, and market intelligence are integrated seamlessly into broader commercial strategies.

  • Work with Global teams to ensure timely approvals of pricing strategies.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Health Economics, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related quantitative field.

  • 7+ years of experience within the Canadian pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a dedicated focus on market access, strategic pricing, health policy, or financial forecasting.

  • Deep, verifiable understanding of the Canadian drug reimbursement ecosystem—specifically the interplay between Health Canada, CDA-AMC, INESSS, pCPA, and provincial/private drug formularies.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience navigating complex PMPRB reporting, compliance structures, and risk assessments.
