Pay Range: $57.36 - $96.37 per hour

Summary:
Job Summary:
The Dir Periop and Intv Services is responsible for oversight of Perioperative and Interventional business operations, finance, information technology, reimbursement, and administrative functions. In addition, to overseeing reporting, revenue capture, IT optimization, market and operational analysis, financial planning & analysis, budget development and monitoring, problem resolution, and personnel management of these domains. This position has extensive interaction with hospital and medical staff leadership, surgeon practices and institutional ancillary and support services to ensure business office services are delivered efficiently and effectively. • Master's Degree (MBA/MHA) in Business Administration, Health Administration, Health Systems Management, or healthcare financial management

• Seven (7) years of operations and financial management experience,
• Proven leadership and facilitation skills and ability to independently handle multiple priorities and interests with an emphasis on physician relations
• Understanding of full finance functions, including demonstrated ability to manage budgets, profit and loss statements, quality management,t and analytical skills
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access, and other web-based applications
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Three to five years of progressive management experience in the healthcare field
• Three to five years in Perioperative and Interventional Services
• Knowledge of EPIC
Responsibilities:
1. Directs financial planning and analysis, accounting, revenue cycle and business development functions for all of Perioperative and interventional Services
2. Oversees profit and loss reporting including development of the annual operating and capital budgets, financial reports and business plan reviews that fall under Perioperative and Interventional Services
3. Provides complex analysis of financial statement results, including variance explanations for revenue, COGS (margin) and all other operating and salary expenses
4. Develops detailed financial plan including analyzing, identifying, promoting, and implementing plans, policies, and programs to increase revenue, enhance gross margin, expand operating leverage and operating income and develop and lead supply expense reduction initiatives
5. Develops tools, such as key performance indicators (KPI), for communicating status and making improvements in performance to key stakeholders
6. Ensures that all financial and administrative systems support the evolving strategy and operational capabilities by collaborating with members of the executive management team and physician leadership
7. Keeps abreast of competitive and industry developments
8. Develops, Identifies and implements tools and business practices that help the business identify and address opportunities for improvement
9. Develops, implements, and monitors policies and procedures appropriate for day-to-day operations and sees that these are readily available to staff
10. Develops and ensures vendors adhere to vendor guidelines
11. Responsible for management of the Operating Room, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath Lab,b and Interventional Radiology Billing and Scheduling teams
12. Designs and directs processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all hospital policies and accrediting body requirements
13. Ensures billing services adhere to medical center policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
14. Maximizes reimbursement through implementation of optimal revenue/charge capture processes
15. Designs and directs processes and procedures to ensure optimal scheduling
16. Promotes high levels of employee engagement, well-being, and personal integrity
17. Responsible for coordination with Information Services to optimize Epic OpTime, Radiant, Cade,nce and ClinDoc modules
18. Responsible for working with Capital Projects, Finance, hospital leadership/executive management, and clinical leaders to operationalize large-scale capital purchases
19. Works with Supply Chain on contracts to ensure all new products enter the system appropriately at the right price and the right time, in conjunction with capital purchases
20. Coordinates trials for new equipment for capital planning
21. Serves as a preceptor and mentor for administrative fellows, 1st- and 2nd-year graduate students, and undergraduate interns
22. Ensures personal safety of all employees, patients, visitors,s and guests by enforcing and conforming to all RUMC and regulatory agency safety guidelines
23. Represents Perioperative and Interventional Services on ... Surgical Services Executive Committee, Hospital Infection Prevention Committee, Perioperative & Interventional Services Operations Committee, Endoscopy Steering Committee, Interventional Services Advisory Group, Interventional Operational Efficiency Committee, Perioperative & Interventional Services Patient Satisfaction Committee, Epic Optimization Committee, Data Governance Committee, Robotics Committee, and other committees or task forces, as assigned
