Responsibilities

Director of Clinical Services

Roxbury is currently hiring a Director of Clinical Services to oversee the clinical programs on our Substance Use Disorder unit and Acute Psychiatric units. This is a senior leader position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

The Director of Clinical Services provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility, ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of a clinical treatment programs.

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 41 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Qualifications

Director of Clinical Services Job Requirements:
  • Education: Master's Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Social Work or other related field which includes a practicum in health or human service agency required , preferably in a drug and alcohol or mental health setting.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) tears experience in psychiatric/mental health field. Prefer candidates with a minimum of three (3) years experience in advanced clinical/management practice. Two years of supervisor experience required.
  • License: Appropriate state licensure in mental health, or social services
  • Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, DHS, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities is preferable
