Description and RequirementsWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join the Digital Workplace Solutions Delivery Team within the Lenovo Services & Solutions Group (SSG).
This role will reside within the (Americas/EMEA/AP) Project Management Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the successful execution of complex projects in accordance with quality standards, while ensuring client satisfaction . The Project Manager will play a pivotal role , maintaining effective communication between our clients and internal teams including Presales, Sales, Fulfillment,
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative and positive project team culture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives , and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, considering project complexities and potential challenges.
- Provide strong leadership to project teams, motivating and guiding them to meet project milestones, while delivering high quality results.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing regular project updates.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and implementing resolution strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and policies, aligned with PMO Governance and Compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience ( 7 + years) in a customer-facing project manager role managing complex IT projects from initiation to closure .
- Strong leadership and team management skills .
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Experience working with diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP, or equivalent project management certification .
- Fluent in English, verbal and written. Preferred fluent in French, verbal and written.
