Full Job Description
Desjardins is looking for a high-calibre IT Solutions Expert capable of analyzing, influencing, and evolving large-scale digital work environments. As a Digital Workplace IT Solutions Expert, you'll act as a key reference in the development of our desktop services, including physical, virtual and mobile solutions. You'll actively contribute to the direction of technological choices and support the transformation of environments toward modern, secure and efficient solutions, tailored to the operational realities of the organization. In this role, you'll leverage your ability to combine your strategic vision, in-depth understanding of organizational challenges and technical expertise to support the continuous evolution of our services. You'll play a key role in aligning business needs with technological capabilities and operational requirements. Beyond recommending solutions, you will actively participate in their evolution, facilitate their adoption and support teams in their implementation. You will act as a focal point for the teams responsible for strategy, delivery and operations, fostering pragmatic, sustainable and value-creating approaches. More specifically, you will be required to:
  • Contribute to defining and evolving the strategic direction of digital workplaces across the organization.
  • Analyze needs, influence technological decisions and recommend efficient, secure solutions that meet operational needs.
  • Design and develop complex solutions related to workstations, virtual environments and mobile solutions while ensuring their consistency and integration.
  • Foster alignment between business needs, strategic directions, and the strategy, delivery, and operations teams.
  • Identify technical issues, propose pragmatic approaches and help resolve complex situations or major incidents.
  • Help teams implement, adopt and operate IT solutions.
  • Optimize practises and services by introducing modern approaches that promote performance, simplicity, and operational efficiency.
  • Actively maintain technology intelligence and contribute to discussions with decision makers to support the continuous evolution of digital workplaces.

What you bring to the table
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in IT, including a significant portion in roles requiring advanced technology expertise or influence
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience in complex, large-scale organizational settings
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Proficiency in organizational dynamics and ability to navigate environments with multiple active players
  • Advanced proficiency in advanced technological environments (modern workplace, virtual environment, mobility, cloud)
  • Proficiency in operational issues (stability, support, performance, scalability)
  • Proficiency in modern management tools (SCCM, Intune or equivalent)
  • In-depth knowledge of Citrix, Windows infrastructure, AD, Azure AD, GPO, Microsoft 365 ecosystem, macOS, iOS
  • Knowledge of endpoint security
  • Advanced knowledge of user environments
  • Extensive expertise in large-scale digital work environments
