Job Description

Position Summary

The Digital Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of key digital initiatives across our web and e-commerce platforms. This role uniquely combines strong project management capabilities with business analysis and product management skills. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams; including Product Management, UX/UI, Engineering, Marketing, Digital & Ecommerce, and third-party vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. The Digital Project Manager will be a key contributor to the growing Product & UX Team, supporting a strategic roadmap to create world-class digital experiences that drive engagement, loyalty, and revenue for our resort, hotel properties, and retail businesses. This position reports to the Director of Product Management.

The salary range for this position is $83,500 - $110,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of web and e-commerce projects ranging from simple launches to complex cross-functional rollouts.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user needs, and technical requirements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to define clear project scope, objectives, timelines and deliverables.
  • Conduct platform and process assessments to evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend improvements or new solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to align priorities with product roadmaps.
  • Documentation of user needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Support roadmap planning and prioritization by synthesizing stakeholder input and helping teams align on scope, sequencing, and success metrics.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively manage issues to minimize impact on delivery.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Manage vendor and third-party relationships as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management and business analysis processes, tools, and templates.
  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in a digital, web, e-commerce, or technology environment required
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree is required
  • PMP, CSM, CBAP, or similar certification preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Experience with business analysis activities such as gathering requirements, conducting stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and documenting user stories or functional specs required
  • Strong understanding of web and e-commerce ecosystems, including CMS platforms, APIs, analytics, and integrations
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects on time, within scope, and aligned to business goals
  • Proficient knowledge of Jira or other project management applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies
  • Experience with open APIs and headless systems to create custom web and ecommerce experiences
  • Experience managing vendors, including development and design firms
  • Experience working with matrixed teams and vendor partners
  • Experience working in the travel, tourism, leisure, ski resort, luxury retail, or hospitality industries
  • Ability to serve as a connective link between business, UX, and engineering teams, ensuring requirements are well-understood and traceable from discovery through delivery.
  • Ability to learn the details and nuances of Aspen One's business, including channels, departments, product models, guest engagement strategies, loyalty programs, cross-business journeys, marketing plans, financial models, and industry complexities, and be able to bring digital solutions to market within this context.

• Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements

• Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
