Job Summary:
The Digital Learning Consultant will focus on developing comprehensive learning programs, assets, and certifications for critical digital job roles for dealers. The objective is to build digital competency and enhance understanding of Cat Digital tools, emphasizing both the value these solutions bring and best practices for their use in daily responsibilities. This role will collaborate closely with digital product teams and actively seek input and feedback from Digital Adoption Representatives (DARs) and Product Adoption Consultants (PACs) to ensure learning resources are relevant, impactful, and aligned with dealer needs. Additionally, the Learning Consultant will own the instructional design for identified learning assets, leveraging creative methods and proven adult learning techniques to maximize learner engagement and outcomes.

What You Will Do:
  • Designing and delivering comprehensive learning programs and assets tailored to critical dealer digital job roles.
  • Collaborating with digital product teams and actively seeking feedback from Digital Adoption Representatives (DARs) and Product Adoption Consultants (PACs) to create learning resources that are relevant, impactful, and meet evolving dealer needs.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of learning assets and programs by gathering performance data, monitoring ROI, and implementing improvements to maximize digital competency and adoption.
  • Maintaining and updating learning materials to stay compliant with organizational policies and reflect the latest digital solutions and practices.
  • Evaluating and implementing new instructional methods, technologies, and content options-leveraging proven adult learning techniques and creative approaches to enhance learner engagement and outcomes.
  • Consulting with business partners to assess digital learning requirements and ensure programs support both organizational strategy and dealer success.

  • Training Operations: Knowledgeable in designing, implementing, and maintaining learning programs and assets, ensuring compliance, relevance, and smooth execution of learning initiatives for critical digital roles.


Considerations For Top Candidates:
  • Experienced in instructional design methods such as ADDIE or SAM and analysis methods such as DACUM
  • Experienced in authoring tools such as Articulate360
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for course deployment, tracking, and reporting
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to digital learning solutions
  • Ability to analyze learner data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in learning content and delivery
  • Familiarity with eLearning standards such as SCORM or xAPI
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and integrate them into learning solutions
  • Awareness of compliance, accessibility, and inclusivity best practices in digital learning content
  • Experience using AI to accelerate and enrich traditional instructional design workflows
  • Familiarity with Cat Digital product portfolios
  • Prior experience with managing and prioritizing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, including collaborating with product teams, dealers, and business leaders
  • Project management skills, including timeline development, resource allocation, and risk mitigation

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
