The Opportunity:Avantor is seeking a
Digital Analytics Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of digital analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics 4, ensuring they meet the business's needs and support data-driven decision-making processes.

- Build an analytics tag, event, integration, and platform roadmap aligning with business objectives.
- Lead adoption of Google Analytics 4 globally across all Avantor web properties.
- Draw upon experience, industry best practices, and knowledge of user behavior to identify tracking opportunities that can drive better customer experiences.
- Supports major web development projects, code releases, and other IT & Digital Marketing initiatives where custom event tagging and/or dashboards are necessary to monitor success.
- Gathers information from multiple internal and external sources to create bespoke tagging solutions and advise stakeholders on interpretating results.
- Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and support resources to ensure users can effectively utilize digital analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and marketing managers to provide digital analytics support for web strategies and initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in digital analytics, incorporating findings into product strategy and development.
- Aid in Adobe Target event tagging and Data Layer requirements.
- Prepare concise reports for executive stakeholders, highlighting key trends and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business units, to define product requirements and roadmaps for analytics tools and platforms.
- Work closely with data scientists and analysts to integrate advanced analytics and machine learning models into products, enhancing their capabilities and value.
- Propose data governance strategies and implement solutions.

What we're looking for- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years experience in digital marketing or a related field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Product Management experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or other similar digital analytics solutions such as Adobe Analytics.
- Experience with migration from Universal Analytics to GA4.
- Google Analytics and Tag Manager certification a plus.
- Advanced understanding of Google Analytics Tagging is essential.
- Strong e-marketing channel knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic SQL experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively present concepts and reporting data to business users at the Manager / Director / VP level as well as to external customers.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet objectives set by Digital Marketing leadership.
- Ability to effectively foster business relationships across teams and develop a good view of how the business operates.
- Ability to immerse oneself into product and stories to generate relevant campaigns.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple work requests and projects.
- Able to independently prioritize workload.
