Job Summary:The Lead Marketing Analytics role is a senior individual contributor responsible for driving high-impact analytics that inform customer strategy, marketing investment decisions, and business growth.
This role blends deep analytical execution with strategic influence. You will partner closely with marketing and business stakeholders to understand customer behavior, evaluate campaign performance, and shape data-driven strategies across channels. You will own complex analytical problem spaces end-to-end-developing methodologies, delivering insights, and influencing decisions-while helping elevate the overall analytics capability across the organization.
The ideal candidate is passionate about eCommerce and marketing analytics, thrives in ambiguity, and is highly skilled at translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Own and drive high-impact marketing analytics initiatives, from problem framing through insight delivery and business recommendation
- Act as a strategic thought partner to marketing stakeholders across areas such as affiliate marketing, campaign strategy, and channel investment
- Design and execute deep-dive analyses on customer behavior, marketing performance, and digital engagement
- Evolve targeting and segmentation strategies to improve marketing efficiency and customer lifetime value
- Utilize measurement frameworks, including attribution approaches (MTA/MMM), to evaluate marketing effectiveness across channels
- Establish and improve end-to-end analytics workflows, including methodology design, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and scalable reporting solutions
- Contribute to elevating team standards by sharing best practices, frameworks, and analytical approaches
Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or related fields, preferably in eCommerce, retail, or digital marketing
- Proven ability to independently own complex analytical problems and influence business decisions
- Strong expertise in SQL and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio)
- Hands-on experience with web analytics and data platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Deep understanding of marketing measurement, attribution models, and statistical techniques
- Experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM) and/or multi-touch attribution (MTA)
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights
- Experience mentoring or guiding other analysts is a plus, but not required
- Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field preferred
