  • Current ARDMS (Abdomen or OB/GYN) or equivalent required; multiple specialties preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Two years post-graduation experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform ultrasound exams, including detailed fetal surveys, preferred.
  • GE ultrasound experience preferred; Trophon experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging examinations on patients of all ages.
  • Ensure quality and continuity of patient care during imaging procedures.
  • Contribute to efficient operations of the diagnostic imaging department.
  • Perform receptionist/clerk duties or other departmental tasks as needed.
  • Utilize specialized training in imaging modality to enhance patient care.

Diagnostic Imaging Technologist II - Sonographer; $10K Sign-On 2 year/$15K Sign-On 3 year, $15K Relocation and Retention Bonus Eligible

Bethel, Alaska

Position Summary:

Performs imaging examinations on all ages of patients (newborn through geriatric), contributing to the efficient operations of the department and ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Uses specific training in imaging modality to provide excellent patient care. Performs responsibilities of receptionist/clerk or other department duties as needed.

Position Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program or equivalent preferred. Current registration with ARDMS may be accepted in lieu of accredited graduation.
  • Current ARDMS (Abdomen or OB/GYN) or equivalent required. Multiple specialties preferred.
  • Current BLS certification
  • Two years post-graduation experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform ultrasound exams included detailed fetal surveys preferred.
  • GE ultrasound experience preferred. Trophon experience preferred.
