Job DescriptionThe Impact you will have in this role:The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.
Your Primary Responsibilities:- Design, build, secure, automate, operate, and provide Level 3 and Level 4 engineering support for enterprise DevSecOps platforms and services
- Develop and enhance platform architecture, service capabilities, integrations, and automation solutions that support secure and reliable software delivery
- Lead product lifecycle activities, including platform upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, bug fixes, technology refreshes, and operational readiness
- Maintain the availability, performance, security, scalability, and resiliency of production and non-production platform environments
- Administer and support Linux, AWS, container, middleware, database, and enterprise DevSecOps technology environments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, scripts, self-service capabilities, and operational automation using tools and languages such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Python, Shell, and Groovy
- Support enterprise security, risk, compliance, audit, access control, and platform hardening requirements
- Implement monitoring, alerting, capacity management, backup, disaster recovery, and service continuity capabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, infrastructure, application, pipeline, and integration issues
- Participate in incident response, service restoration, root cause analysis, problem management, and continuous improvement activities
- Provide engineering consultation and integration support to application teams, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity partners, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with technology vendors and internal support teams to resolve product issues and deliver platform improvements
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, engineering standards, and platform support materials
- Participate in the team's 24x7 on-call support rotation for critical enterprise DevSecOps services
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that strengthen platform security, reliability, automation, and operational efficiency
Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering within a high-paced production environment
- Proven experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications, infrastructure, and technology platforms
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and services, preferably AWS
- Advanced Linux system administration experience, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Java-based middleware technologies, including Java, Tomcat, and Groovy
- Experience with relational database technologies, including PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Python, Shell, or Groovy
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting CI/CD solutions using Jenkins pipelines and Groovy
- Engineering and administration experience with enterprise DevSecOps platforms such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus Repository, Nexus IQ, Fortify, or comparable tools
- Experience managing product lifecycles, including upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, technology refreshes, and operational readiness
- Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, risk management, audit, and access-control requirements
- Strong scripting or application development experience using Java, Groovy, Python, or similar modern programming languages
- Experience working within Agile delivery and project management environments
- Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation for critical enterprise services
