OverviewWe are looking for a talented, self-motivated, and experienced systems engineer to help support the public cloud and enhance DevSecOps practices to automate workflows for the enterprise. Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain operational components in public clouds, such as AWS, Azure as well as private cloud
- Create tools and processes that enhance operational workflows
- Configure and deploy containerized microservice workloads (Docker/Kubernetes: EKS)
- Collaborate with a team of DevOps engineers to help maintain the production application and infrastructure across multiple cloud providers and regions
- Work closely with development teams to improve workflows around build, test, and deployment of applications
- Design new tools and utilities to automate the infrastructure management
- Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and trending operational tools within a cloud environment
- Perform day-to-day support of the applications covering deployment, patching and general administration
- Troubleshoot the system and provide root cause analysis
- Provide rotational 24/7 on-call technical support
Requirements- 2+ years of relevant work experience, focused on infrastructure management and automation
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with UNIX/Linux environments
- Experience with configuration management systems (Puppet/Chef)
- Ability to write code in Python/PowerShell for infrastructure scripting
- Strong understanding of build/automation systems, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Strong knowledge and experience with Git
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools, such as CloudFormation or Terraform
- Ability to automate self-service workflows
- Understanding/experience of cloud and web security is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related STEM field
Recommended Qualifications- Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Previous experience with cloud provisioning tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines and libraries
- Working experience with Linux containers (Docker) and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes
- Previous experience supporting mission-critical distributed systems
- Ability to share your expertise through documentation and mentorship
- Passionate about creating workflows that help produce a great self-service developer experience
- Good problem-solving skills and passion to learn, explore new technologies

$70,304-$122,720 USD
