DevOps Kubernetes Administrator
Lead II - DevOps Engineering
UST is seeking a skilled Kubernetes Administrator with strong troubleshooting abilities, coding understanding, and experience in managing CI/CD pipelines. The role involves support, client interaction, and participation in on call.
The opportunity:
• Administer and support Kubernetes clusters with focus on reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues and work closely with development teams.
• Provide support and be part of on-call rotation schedules.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve platform and deployment issues.
• Review and understand application code for better debugging and support.

What you need:
• Must-Have Skills:
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration.
• Proficiency in Jenkins, GitOps, Ansible, Terraform, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift or similar cloud platforms and Google Anthos.
• Strong pipeline troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Good to Have:
• Experience with Argo Workflows.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote-US
Compensation Range: $90,000-$135,000

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
