Job Description:
DevOps Engineer
• ADO Platform Ownership - establish standards and configurations for Azure DevOps and related tools; set and maintain the roadmap for DevSecOps services.
• Engineering and Development - develop pipelines, integrations, and other tools and automations.
• DevSecOps Leadership - Develop and inculcate best practices and patterns for DevSecOps; advise development, operations, and other technology teams on incorporating DevSecOps tools and practices in their work.
• Reporting and Analysis - Produce and analyze metrics for DevSecOps process visibility and improvement.
• You can demonstrate experience with: Azure DevOps use and engineering, including work item processes, pipelines, code branching and management, ADO agents, and reporting.
• You engineered applications on Azure environments, including App Service and Azure SQL, and integrated with ITSM tools, code scanners, and similar systems.
• Its an Asset if: You have experience with GitHub, JIRA, Power Platform, and containerization/Kubernetes; technical certifications are a plus.
• Must have strong experience in Azure cloud.
• Strong SQL Database/SQL MI understanding, being able to explain how its different from On-Prem (hint: connection strings, managed identities again, etc.)
• Good to have - Graph API knowledge, being able to explain steps to enable authentication, and use Client Rest API.
• Good to have - Open API knowledge, being able to explain steps to create, use, document and consume.
• Good communication / organizational skills to understand and discuss development requirement.
• Experience with approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
