Position OverviewThe Cloud Devops team at Liveperson is looking for a
Junior DevOps Engineer: a candidate that takes on challenges, continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, an eagerness to follow good practices and a desire to apply his skills in the field of DevOps.

You Will: Key Responsibilities & Impact- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Bash to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create automation strategies, and deploy efficient solutions.
- Utilize cloud technologies and services, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to architect and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime
You Have: Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience of 2 years in Python programming with a focus on automation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Live within commutable distance to Dallas, Texas
The salary range for this role will be between $90,000 - $110,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications.
