Job Purpose/SummaryCelink is hiring a DevOps engineer. You will collaborate with and across Agile development teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies. You will help continually improve our technical infrastructure to increase its stability. You will also assist our transition to describing our infrastructure as code using Terraform and move our applications to serverless/containers.
Duties and responsibilities- Build, secure, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Automate and support infrastructure in AWS with infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform
- Optimize AWS cloud infrastructure following AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Develop and support CI/CD tools and systems
- Perform software releases
- Support serverless and container application infrastructure
- Partner with the development team to identify and develop tools for automation in all phases of development cycles, including rigorous testing, release, and deployment process
- Build and maintain disaster recovery solutions for cloud infrastructure
- Improve scalability and reliability through monitoring services and infrastructure and further development of SRE toolset
- Implement detection and alerting of anomalous behaviors of infrastructure and application
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot performance and reliability issues, improve our runbooks, and practice incident response
- Automate server fleet maintenance and management
- Report KPIs for DevOps team
Qualifications- A strong desire to automate processes, build software tools, and create infrastructure-as-code solutions in a DevOps environment
- Excellent knowledge of AWS orchestration, network, database, compute, IAM and migration services
- Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Knowledge of pipeline building
- Good knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell is a big a plus
- Proficiency with Git
- Understanding of agile deployment mythology and practices
- Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring tools tools (like DataDog)
- Understanding of REST APIs
Experience Requirements- 5+ hands-on experience automating infrastructure in a cloud environment, preferably Amazon Web Services using infrastructure-as-code (with tools like Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible)
- 5+ years experience with CICD methodologies and implementation practices, as well as tools (GitHub Actions or similar)
- 5+ years experience administering Linux servers
- 5+ years experience working with containers (Docker) and orchestration layers (Kubernetes, ECS)
- 3+ years experience with AWS Serverless Architecture (Lambda, Fargate)
- Experience debugging and running fault tolerant large-scale distributed systems
Education Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Technology field.
