Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Developer Standard III with more than 8 years of .NET application development experience, particularly in middle-tier and back-end development of services, application logic, and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET 8, Azure Cloud, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, authentication and authorization patterns, and Microsoft Entra ID. The role requires strong technical, architectural, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to work independently across development, security, DevSecOps, QA, and production activities.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop RESTful API services and publish/subscribe message interfaces in alignment with integration requirements, defined architecture and design, and infrastructure specifications.
• Leverage .NET 8, Azure API Management (APIM), and Azure Service Bus to develop scalable and reliable services and messaging solutions.
• Coordinate with QA teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and stabilize application functionality.
• Integrate solutions with DevSecOps processes, security hooks, and required security controls.
• Collaborate with other ITS teams to move projects through development, testing, deployment, and production stages.
• Complete technical documentation for modules and solutions developed.
• Apply appropriate authentication and authorization patterns, including Client Credentials, OBO, and other flows within Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
• Support the development and implementation of application standards, architecture artifacts, and standardization processes.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure technical requirements, priorities, and solutions are clearly understood and aligned.
• Provide training, coaching, and support for architecture and development projects.
• Develop high-level, information-rich technical models and diagrams to communicate architecture and solution concepts.
• Contribute to extending and maturing business architecture and technology standards.
• Act as a liaison between business units and Information Technology, conveying information through accurate technical and architectural models.
• Facilitate discussions with clients, management, and stakeholders to establish clarity, prioritization, and consensus.
• Analyze complex technical and business problems and apply sound conceptual, analytical, and judgmental skills to develop effective solutions.

Required Qualifications
• More than 8 years of experience in .NET application development, particularly middle-tier and back-end development of services, application logic, APIs, and related solutions.
• Strong skills and experience in system development using .NET and Azure Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization patterns such as Client Credentials, OBO, and other authentication flows.
• Strong experience working within Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
• Experience with API Gateways, message/event hubs, Azure DevOps, SharePoint Online, and Azure Key Vault.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and pub/sub messaging interfaces.
• Knowledge of application standards, architecture products, architecture artifacts, and standardization processes.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices and integration of security controls into application development.
• Excellent communication, writing, documentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
