Developer III for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will join an enterprise Commercial Web team supporting the ongoing modernization and enhancement of member self-service portals and a mobile client toolkit application. This role focuses on front-end development, production support, and delivery of new features within a recently modernized platform in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Required Qualifications of the Developer III:- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; OR 4 years of relevant professional experience; OR Associate's degree plus 2 years of related experience
- 4+ years of experience in application development, systems testing, or related IT experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (Vue.js, Angular, or React)
- Experience working in enterprise web application environments with focus on UI development and enhancements
- Strong understanding of application development, integration methodologies, and system design concepts
- Experience with source control, builds, and deployment processes in a CI/CD or structured release environment
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in production and development environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across Agile teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Developer III:- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Experience supporting enterprise web modernization initiatives or re-platforming efforts
- Exposure to Agile/SAFe delivery environments
- Experience participating in code reviews, release coordination, and production support rotations
Responsibilities of the Developer III:- Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end features for enterprise web and mobile applications
- Design, code, test, and debug application components to ensure performance and quality standards
- Create and execute unit tests and validate code changes prior to deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely support for critical incidents
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, design discussions, and system refinement activities
- Manage source code, builds, deployments, and release coordination across multiple environments
Work Location: Hybrid schedule with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday in Columbia, SC and additional onsite presence as needed. Remote interviews will be conducted.
