Full Job Description
Ericsson Inc. seeks a Developer (5G Baseband Software Developer) in Austin, TX; hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve toFocus on design and development of software content for Ericsson's gNodeB products. What you will do: Design, implement, and integrate software features for 5G NR RAN functionality including for Cloud RAN deployments; Responsible for software activities like requirement analysis, design, SW coding, integration, verification, configuration management, product line support, and product documentation towards realizing 5G features on Baseband; Develop software, implement new functionalities in C / C++ / Java code, often in a multi-core target environment; Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling; Apply knowledge of Real-Time Software development and wireless communication protocols (5G, LTE); Perform software deliveries using a software version control system; Develop automated test cases to ensure existing functionality is never degraded by new software; Document all system analysis, software designs and unit test plans. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date.
