Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Proven experience with APQP and supplier part feasibility
• Familiarity with AVBOM/FedeBOM for component management
• Experience in conducting acceptance testing of parts
• Capable of performing engineering calculations and analyses
• Knowledge of working with CAE groups for functionality support
• Proven track record in change management and control processes
• Experience managing components through their entire design lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Design and release underbody structure components using steel and aluminum
• Deliver body structure components and subsystems from conception to completion
• Support product development throughout the production phase
• Assess new-source supplier part feasibility via APQP
• Evaluate stamping and assembly processes, collaborating with suppliers
• Maintain and update FedeBOM for designated components
• Conduct physical acceptance testing to ensure parts meet standards
• Perform engineering calculations to facilitate required part functions
• Manage part changes within design and release frameworks
• Lead discussions in Change Control meetings regarding part changes
• Complete necessary documentation for engineering changes
• Oversee assigned structure components through their complete lifecycle
