About the roleWe're hiring a Design Operations Lead to join our Product Design team. In this role, you'll build and scale the systems that help our design org move faster, deliver high-quality work, and operate with greater consistency.
You'll partner closely with Design leadership, working day-to-day with the Head of Design. Key areas of focus include introducing and testing new workflows, strengthening planning and execution, and ensuring the team is set up to do its best work.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $165,000 and up to $215,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to:- Build and scale operational systems that improve design velocity, quality, and consistency
- Partner with Product Design leadership to define and implement workflows and tools
- Oversee the health and effectiveness of the Product Design organization with a people-first approach
- Partner with the VP of Product Design to establish operating rhythms and leadership communications
- Drive clarity and alignment through planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination
- Define and track measurable goals and KPIs for the design organization
- Identify process gaps and continuously improve workflows to support a high-performing team
- Drive the adoption and integration of AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate velocity, improve quality, and reduce operational overhead
To thrive in this role, you have:- Led or scaled Design Operations, Creative Operations, or similar functions within a product-focused organization
- Built systems and processes that measurably improve team velocity, quality, and alignment
- Partnered closely with senior design leadership on org planning, operating rhythms, and execution
- Strong cross-functional instincts, with a track record of working effectively across Product, Engineering, and Design
- Implemented tools, workflows, or systems that drive operational efficiency at scale
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, with the ability to build from 01 and evolve systems over time
