The Design Director, China Market is a key member of the Victoria's Secret Global Brand Design team, responsible for executing design for the China market within a unified global framework.
This role brings deep understanding of the China customer and market landscape, translating global design direction into relevant, customer-centric product while maintaining a consistent brand expression worldwide.
Execute design for the China market aligned to global brand vision and category strategy
Translate global design direction into market-relevant intimates product for China
Bring forward China customer insights, trends, and competitive context to inform global design conversations
Create original, commercially viable designs across intimates categories within global frameworks
Ensure consistency of brand aesthetic, quality, and standards globally
Partner closely with global and JV cross-functional teams to drive alignment from concept to execution
Develop sketches, prototypes, and specifications to support product development
Collaborate with product development and manufacturing partners to ensure design intent is executed
Monitor product performance and customer feedback to refine design direction
Manage multiple priorities, delivering against timelines, quality, and cost expectations
Present design concepts and product direction to regional and global stakeholders
Partner closely with Global Design, Merchandising, Product Development, and Marketing, this role ensures strong alignment from concept through execution-supporting a "one brand" approach while driving commercially successful assortments for China.

Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related field
8+ years of design experience, with strong focus on intimates
Strong understanding of lingerie construction, fit, and materials
Proven ability to balance creative design with commercial outcomes
Experience working in global or matrixed organizations preferred
Understanding of China consumer and market dynamics
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills
Agile, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
Must be willing to travel up to 2-3 trips annually to China; up to 40 days/ year
Must be willing to flex work hours as needed for China time zone (i.e.: 7-9am and pm)
