Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Tech Operations Lead to manage day to day technology operations and lead a team supporting system integration components across multiple states.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Medicaid Enterprise environments, a strong technology and infrastructure background, and the ability to lead large technical teams while ensuring effective technology operations and delivery.

Required Skills
• Experience managing system integration components across multiple states
• Experience with Medicaid Enterprise environments
• Strong technology and infrastructure background
• Experience managing day to day technology operations
• Experience leading large technical teams
• Advanced knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Intermediate knowledge of Infrastructure Architecture
• Intermediate knowledge of Application Architecture Optimization
• Intermediate knowledge of Technology Selection

Preferred Skills
• Prior development lead experience
• Prior operations lead experience

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day to day technology operations
• Lead and coordinate a team of over 20 people
• Manage technology and system integration components supporting multiple states
• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure and application architecture activities
• Support technology selection and architecture optimization decisions
• Ensure technology operations align with project and business requirements
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support effective system integration
• Provide guidance and oversight throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
• Support operational issue resolution and technology delivery activities

Education Requirement
• Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
