Description

Serve as a second in command supporting the Program Director in the successful execution of all Landing Gear Performance Based Logistics (LGPBL) program activities. Responsible for management of the repatriation process, supply chain and Business Management System in support of LGPBL. Assists the Contract Manager in observing contract compliance, producing CDRLs and reports, and liaising with the customer and operator. Additionally, this person is responsible for the proper utilization, capability and accuracy of data within the MIS. Such responsibility includes maintaining relevancy and adequacy of all program data and reporting capability.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Support a wide variety of program execution activities in operational, managerial, administrative, and financial disciplines, among others, as directed by the Program Director
  • Responsible for internal program metrics and financial/operational reporting
  • Responsible for management and execution of program repatriation activities
  • Oversee overall program supply chain performance supporting remanufacturing activities
  • Facilitate periodic Program Management Review meetings with the customer
  • Support continuous improvement and standardization plans necessary to achieve program quality, delivery and cost targets at all program operating locations
  • Anticipate problems and work to proactively mitigate them
  • Travel is required
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from four-year College or university; or fifteen (15)+ years related experience
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in program management or government contracting
  • Prior experience with USAF depot maintenance or logistics, or management of aviation supply chain management programs is strongly preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
