Job DescriptionDeputy Program Manager to support the day-to-day operations, business management, and growth of a professional services program. This role serves as a key partner to program leadership, helping ensure effective execution, financial performance, workforce readiness, compliance, and overall program health. Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret or Top Secret clearance. Some travel is required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Support day-to-day program operations and business management activities.
- Assist with program planning, resource coordination, and operational priorities.
- Monitor program performance, financial health, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain program metrics, dashboards, and leadership reporting.
- Coordinate with Finance, Contracts, Procurement, Human Resources, and other corporate functions to support program execution.
- Support workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, and resource allocation activities.
- Develop and maintain past performance content, customer success stories, and program knowledge assets.
- Support proposal development, pricing activities, staffing plans, and growth initiatives.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the program.
- Serve as backup to the Program Manager.
Required Skills- Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
- Experience with Costpoint and Power BI.
- Ability to analyze and present program performance metrics and operational data.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Generating proposal content, technical writing, pricing, and basis of estimate development.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience supporting program operations, technical projects, or professional services organizations.
- Experience in financial management, workforce planning, operational reporting, and program administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing and coordinating across technical teams, corporate functions, and program leadership to achieve business objectives.
