THE WORK
Position is in support of the Mission Integrated Command and Control (MIC2) Undersea Mission Systems (UMS), Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion (ARCI) Program Technical Documentation team. The successful candidate will assist in the coordination of technical documentation development for S1000D Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) as part of Agile product releases. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for interpreting product requirements and translating them into development plans, schedules, and communicating these plans to the product development teams. Additionally, the candidate will assist in development and presentation of technical reports and white papers to senior level management and the customer program office, demonstrating their ability to effectively communicate complex technical information. A basic understanding of the Technical Insertion (TI) and Advanced Processing Build (APB) cycles is also required, as the candidate will need to navigate these processes in support of the program's technical documentation needs. As the Deputy IETM Lead, the candidate will be responsible for assisting in:
• Fostering a positive team culture, promoting collaboration, communication, and professional development of team members
• Maintaining communication with global sustainment leadership for understanding and adherence to program IETM requirements, development schedules, deliveries, and risk management.
• Maintaining communication with global sustainment leadership for support of program training requirements and the interdependencies between IETM and training material development and training conducts.
• Oversee scrum master duties: facilitating Scrum events, such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
• Managing team inputs in Jira, including User Stories and capacity assessments, to support new engineering features
• Reviewing Jira for new engineering features and following up with engineering product teams to gather required information

Basic Qualifications
• A strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with excellent multitasking and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Agile Methodology and Scrum framework, with a solid understanding of Scrum principles and practices
• Knowledge of S1000D compliant Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development processes and sustainment element planning strategies, with experience working in an Agile DevSecOps environment
• Proven experience leading diverse teams, with a track record of successfully managing and motivating team members with varying skillsets and backgrounds
• Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise reports, plans, and presentations to effectively communicate program status to stakeholders
• Familiarity with the Technical Insertion (TI) and Advanced Processing Build (APB) cycles, with a basic understanding of how these processes impact program development and delivery
Desired skills
• Experience collaborating with US Navy submarine stakeholders, including maintainers, operators, and support personnel from installation, engineering, and other disciplines, with a strong understanding of their needs, challenges, and workflows
• Experience working with US Navy submarine sonar systems, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sonar equipment, with knowledge of sonar principles, systems, and procedures, and familiarity with Navy sonar systems such as AN/BQQ-10, AN/BSY-2, or AN/WLY-1
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
