Qualifications/Requirements:
The Depot Induction Manager, Service and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) reports to the Maintenance and Depot Execution Branch Chief incumbent, within the F-35 Sustainment Depot Capability Integration (DCI) division. The Depot Induction Manager for Services and FMS will join a team of program managers and logistics management specialists that support steady-state sustainment of F-35 air vehicle depot flow plans and execution at various CONUS and OCONUS sites, including actions for Contractor and Regional Field Teams. The incumbent will establish a relationship with the services, partner nations, FMS country teams, and industry partners, specifically communicating and coordinating broad interests pertaining to national and industrial depot-level modification and maintenance requirements. The incumbent will apply an understanding of Service and participant country basing and integration requirements and concept of operations to optimize F-35 depot compatibility and logistics supportability across the depot-level modification and maintenance spectrum.
The incumbent is responsible for understanding and integrating the sustainment requirements and logistics solutions of the air system contractors (ASC) and propulsion system contractors (PSC), and US and partner nation services. The incumbent will assist the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) in strengthening the understanding of individual participant sustainment requirements, environment, and concept of operations that will optimize development and implementation of the F-35 Common Global Asset Management (GAM) solution.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET/SPECIAL ACCESS REQUIRED clearance.
Experience managing air vehicle flow with an ALC AMXG or AFLCMC program office as a Depot Induction Manager, a Depot Induction Manager for FMS, or as a depot maintenance execution planner or scheduler.
Awareness of depot site activation planning and experience with methodologies commonly used to drive continuous depot-level process improvement.
Experience monitoring depot-level quality control, ensuring strict adherence to technical data, maintenance procedures, and supply discipline.
Experience with industry or government planning and execution with air vehicle and component inductions, depot process flow, critical path design and implementation, and maintenance information systems.
Have or can obtain an Advanced Life Cycle Logistics certification.
GS-13 or O-4/Maj or identified for promotion to this level.
KSAs (Desirable Skills):
Performance Based Logistics (PBL) experience with suppliers or by oversight.
Aerospace platform sustainment and depot-level program management experience.
Tertiary studies in project management or a related field.
Hold a Program Manager/Project Management certification or equivalent skills.
Squadron Officer School or equivalent professional development.
