Who we're looking for

Toyota Capital Markets Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Deposit and Alternative Markets Senior Analyst

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead market research and strategic initiatives within the evolving crypto and wholesale deposit landscapes. By managing complex financial programs and providing critical insights to leadership, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our treasury strategy.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Deposit Markets, the person in this role will support the Capital Markets Department's objective to optimize liquidity, maximize funding margins, and drive innovation across the TFS ecosystem.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will be at the intersection of traditional finance and emerging digital markets, where your ability to translate complex data into actionable strategy will drive our success. You will own high-impact projects that balance regulatory compliance with forward-thinking market opportunities, ensuring Toyota remains at the forefront of financial efficiency.

  • Lead crypto innovation by driving market research and trend analysis for crypto and Stable Coin initiatives, helping educate stakeholders and senior management on developments that impact the TFS ecosystem.
  • Manage brokered CD programs by overseeing end-to-end issuance and settlement, using market analytics to optimize liquidity and funding margins.
  • Expand wholesale funding by cultivating new depositor relationships and managing existing platforms to ensure seamless onboarding and compliance with internal policies.
  • Drive strategic improvements by leading process improvement initiatives and project management efforts that strengthen treasury systems and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate across teams by partnering with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Treasury Operations to ensure all initiatives align with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide executive insights by serving as a key advisor to senior leadership and delivering updates on market trends and project milestones during weekly Treasury and Asset-Liability Committee meetings.


What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of financial services, banking, capital markets, and/or treasury experience or related field or industry
  • Subject matter expertise in alternative markets, including settlements, cryptocurrency, stablecoins, and Bitcoin
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as business needs may require
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and present complex information to senior management

  • MBA or an advanced degree
  • Advanced statistics/data analytics to support informed decision-making
  • Bloomberg experience preferred
  • Client relationship Management (CRM) software
