Full Job Description
DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Department Manager in our Bloomington, IL office! The department manager will direct business operations of the Commercial service department with the objective to create, foster, and maintain safety-conscious, positive employee relations using a lead by example approach, effective communication, coaching, training, and development.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial door service department
  • Promote and participate in process improvements, looking for opportunities to do things more effectively and efficiently
  • Communicate regularly with members of management to review business results, share observations, and provide feedback
  • Communicate with customers, ensuring the highest quality of service has been provided
  • Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews
  • Manage, provide leadership for, and develop staff through effective communication, coaching, training, and development for continued success and/or for future advancement
  • Lead monthly sales and performance department meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, highly preferred and a minimum of four (4) years of experience managing personnel; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered
  • Responsible for communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels consistently exceed expectations
  • Review customer survey data, respond to customer concerns
  • Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and policies
  • Must possess a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
  • Ability to work on-site at our Bloomington, IL location


The anticipated pay range for this position is below. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Pay Range

$66,332-$102,814 USD
