experienced Life and Annuity Senior Developer to work in Ingenium migration project. This role requires a
deep understanding of the life insurance and annuity industry, excellent Ingenium skills and conversion experience.
Years of experience needed - 8- 10 Years of experience Job Responsibilities: - Must have experience on Life Admin Systems/ Life Insurance, Annuity products
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for the migration of Plan, Rates and Policies from Legacy applications.
- Develop and maintain data mapping and data lineage documentation to ensure accurate data migration.
- Ability to analyze data in Mainframe based application.
- Prepare and execute SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the migration process.
- Provide expertise in Life Insurance products, specifically Whole Life and Universal Life.
- Utilize the Ingenium application and Ingenium Migration fusion tool for data migration.
- Work closely with ETL development team
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Certifications Needed: - Having Life insurance certifications such as LOMA will be a added advantage.
Technical Skills:- COBOL/DB2/VSAM/SQL
- Should be strong in Ingenium.
- Meetings & Reviews , Reporting & Documentation
- Very well versed with tools and techniques for efficient project management and reporting
Qualification:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of Experience with the Ingenium application and Ingenium migration fusion tools is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Senior Developer / Lead in the insurance industry, with a focus on Life Insurance products (Whole Life and Universal Life).
- Strong knowledge of mainframe systems and experience with application migration projects.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in preparing and executing SQL scripts.
- Experience with data mapping, data lineage, and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
