Job Requirements What You Will Do:- Receive and triage supplier commerciality assertions; validate submission completeness against FAR 2.101 criteria before work begins
- Drive supplier interface - request salient characteristic data, commercial invoices, catalog/price lists, and sales history; escalate and track non-responsive suppliers against cycle-time commitments
- Conduct independent market research to establish that a customary commercial market exists - commercial offerings, platform usage, comparable sources inside and outside the customer's supply base
- Build the price analysis: adjust the similar-item sales history via price walk for form/fit/function differences, and document the basis for fair and reasonable pricing
- Assemble the complete determination package - technical assessment, market evidence, price justification, and narrative - to customer format and audit standard
- Maintain traceability and audit-ready documentation sufficient to withstand DCMA/DCAA review and customer internal audit
- Report backlog status, cycle time, and supplier responsiveness metrics; flag assertions likely to fail early rather than late
What You Will Bring:- 5+ years in government contracts, subcontract administration, procurement compliance, or price/cost analysis in aerospace & defense
- Working knowledge of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 15, FAR 2.101 commercial product/service definitions, TINA thresholds, and DFARS 212 commerciality determination requirements
- Demonstrated experience with "of a type" / similar-to commerciality assertions and supporting evidence packages
- Price analysis skills - comparability adjustments, sales history normalization, market-based price reasonableness
- Direct supplier-facing experience; able to push a reluctant supplier for data without damaging the relationship
- Strong technical writing; the narrative is the deliverable
- U.S. person status; ability to obtain access to export-controlled data
