In this position...
The Dealer Loan Business Analyst role is a high-impact, detail-oriented position within Ford Motor Credit's Dealer Loan team. The position includes ownership of all real estate loan closings across the United States for our Ford and Lincoln dealerships. In addition to loan closings, the position is responsible for managing insurance verification for our existing mortgage portfolio.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...
  • Manage real estate loan closings for the United States by leading cross-functional teams across Sales, Dealer Credit (Underwriting), and Regional Outside Counsel (ROC).
  • Ensure mortgage loans are closed in accordance with the approved underwriting requirements and within borrowers required timeline.
  • Manage the Regional Outside Counsel (ROC) relationship as it relates to the process of closing mortgage loans.
  • Manage all aspects of various supplier relationships that support Dealer Loans.
  • Mange post-closing activities and assist with administration of the existing mortgage portfolio by ensuring all required documentation is well organized and easily available. Completion of Paid-in-Full loan processing when mortgage payoffs are received.
  • A continuous improvement mindset as we look to improve our loan closing process from an accuracy and time to close perspective.
  • Ensure daily tasks and workload is completed accurately, timely, and per procedure.
  • Ensure procedural compliance throughout operations in order to achieve satisfactory results on internal (GAO) and external (regulatory) audits. Assist in completion of the annual departmental MCRP.
  • Coordinate and prepare all wire requests.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to Sales, Dealer Credit (Underwriting), and Regional Outside Counsel (ROC) on the loan closure process.
  • Complete special reporting and participate in projects or assignments as required.
  • Provide leadership within the local community through involvement in corporate community activities.
  • Complete administrator duties for Dealer Loans SharePoint Management.


Qualifications

You'll have...
• A 4-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Prior real estate or commercial lending experience, preferably in a loan closing capacity.
• A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and organizational, with the ability to analyze data and effectively balance a variety of tasks and deadlines.

Even better, you may have...
• Automotive financial services experience
• An understanding of title policy underwriting and a real estate settlement statement
• Experience in Real Estate insurance reviews and requirements

Additional Requirements....
• Position will be a Hybrid Position with in-person work being conducted at our Headquarters in Dearborn, MI. Relocation is approved for the selected candidate.
• Expected in-person work, a minimum of 4 days per week.

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500.
This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900.
This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

Internal applicants: moving into this role may result in an adjustment to your current compensation based on the posted pay range for this role, taking into consideration your qualifications and other relevant factors.
