Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)

Participate in designing, configuring, testing, debugging and documenting user applications in various software products
Apply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic
Act as liaison with manufacturers and vendors of software and application products, especially relating to problem diagnosis and resolution

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant software/computer related fields, or two to four years related experience and/or training.
Related experience includes spreadsheet manipulation or database manipulation and macro development. Additional experience preferred with any DCS systems such as Operator Display implementation, I/O database implementation and Control Strategy implementation.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively alongside Puffer-Sweiven's customers, management, and sales organization
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and algorithms to practical and complex situations
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form that apply to several abstract and concrete variables
