Position type: Full-time Contract (W2)
Role: "DBT (data build tool) Developer Lead"
Duration: 6+ months Contract
Location : USA (Remote role)

Must have required skills - DBT development, SQL, data modeling, Snowflake, Teradata, migration

Primary Skill Required for the Role:
• Hands-on experience with DBT development
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Experience with DBT core concepts and workflow
• Understanding of data warehousing principles
• Experience working with cloud platforms
• Ability to write modular, reusable, and tested code
• Familiarity with Git and version control tools
• Experience with Teradata to Snowflake migration

Details:
• Lead and support DBT development for the Teradata to Snowflake migration
• Design, build, and maintain DBT models, transformations, and workflows
• Develop modular, reusable, and tested SQL-based code
• Perform data modeling and support data warehouse design
• Write and optimize SQL for data transformation and analytics
• Apply DBT best practices including testing, documentation, and workflow management
• Partner with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure accurate data delivery
• Validate migrated data and troubleshoot transformation issues
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development
• Support cloud-based data warehouse modernization efforts

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60 - $65/- per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
