Numerator is seeking a Data Scientist to join our growing Data team, working on an established platform that processes massive amounts of proprietary data. This high-impact role centers on supporting and improving our calibration system - a core component that ensures our data outputs are accurate, consistent, and representative of real-world behavior.
You'll contribute to data science systems across multiple SaaS products with end-to-end influence, emphasizing applied problem solving, data investigation, and system improvement. How You'll Spend Your Time- Contribute to the development and improvement of data science systems, with a focus on calibration methodologies and workflows
- Investigate and analyze data to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Build and enhance metrics, reporting, and monitoring to better understand system performance
- Collaborate across Product, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions
- Support integration and validation of new data sources and system changes
- Execute on projects involving data analysis and statistical methods
- Communicate results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders
Skills & Requirements
What You'll Bring to Numerator- BS or advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or another quantitative field
- 2-5 years of industry experience in a data science or analytics role
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with AI skills and process-building is a plus; interest in building with these tools a must
