Be a Contributor - What You'll Do - Translate executive and strategy questions into structured analytical problems, hypotheses, and measurable success metrics tied to Infoblox's strategic pillars, strategic programs, annual objectives and key results
- Build, validate, and maintain statistical and machine learning models (e.g., churn and upsell propensity, pipeline health, segmentation, etc.) to inform planning and portfolio choices
- Create scenario planning, sensitivity, and what-if analysis frameworks that help leaders evaluate trade-offs across revenue growth, margin, investment, and risk
- Design and operationalize KPI definitions, metric hierarchies, and data quality checks in partnership with domain data owners to ensure a single source of truth for executive and board-level reporting
- Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to shape semantic models, data products, and feature stores that enable robust, reusable decision science assets
- Use AI and GenAI tools (e.g., AI-assisted coding, GenAI copilots, RAG-based knowledge search) to accelerate analysis, automate recurring workflows, and build decision-support prototypes, following Infoblox's responsible AI guardrails
- Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests, pilots, quasi-experiments) with Product, Marketing, and Sales to quantify the impact of strategic initiatives
- Develop clear, executive-ready narratives, visualizations, and recommendations that connect advanced analytics to business implications and concrete actions for Infoblox leadership
- Champion data literacy and AI adoption across the Business Strategy organization by sharing reusable assets, playbooks, and training on decision science and AI-powered decision support
Be Prepared - What You Bring - 5-8 years of experience in data science, decision science, or advanced analytics with a focus on business strategy, finance, product, or go-to-market problems in B2B technology or SaaS environments (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Demonstrated expertise with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques relevant to strategy and planning (e.g., time series forecasting, regression, classification, clustering, scenario simulation)
- Strong hands-on skills in Python or R for data science, plus proficiency with SQL for querying large, complex datasets; familiarity with modern analytics and ML platforms (e.g., Databricks or comparable unified analytics/ML environments)
- Experience working with business and financial data (e.g., bookings, pipeline, revenue, unit economics, customer cohorts) and partnering with Finance or Strategy teams on planning, forecasting, or portfolio analysis
- Comfort using AI and GenAI tools as productivity multipliers, with understanding of responsible AI practices (data privacy, bias, human-in-the-loop, governance)
- Proven ability to translate analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives and executive-ready presentations that drive alignment and action across cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience collaborating in product-led or agile environments with data engineers, BI developers, and business owners to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and measure realized impact
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or related); advanced degree (MS, MBA with strong quant focus) preferred but not required
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and influence senior leaders without direct authority

- Contribute to the Business Strategy Data team's roadmap and intake process by defining value hypotheses, prioritization criteria, and success measures for high-impact analytics and AI initiatives
One Year: - Own a portfolio of decision science solutions embedded in ELT and cross-functional operating rhythms (AOP, QBRs, board reporting), measurably improving decision speed and quality
- Help reduce forecast error and improve planning accuracy on top strategic metrics (e.g., bookings, pipeline, churn, product adoption) in line with multi-year team objectives
- Lead the analytical design for at least two cross-functional experiments or pilots (e.g., pricing, packaging, growth programs) and translate results into clear recommendations that influence investment decisions
- Serve as a key contributor to AI adoption within the Office of the President, shaping best practices for responsible AI use in strategy and mentoring peers on data science and AI capabilities
