Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify high-impact opportunities for predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to support decision-making and optimize business processes
  • Design and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes
  • Present complex findings clearly through visualizations, dashboards, or reports
  • Create and maintain production-ready pipelines for data science models
  • Partner with teams to improve data quality and develop reusable data assets
  • Mentor analysts in advanced statistical and machine learning techniques

Full Job Description
Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify high-impact opportunities for predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to support decision[1]making and optimize business processes
  • Design and conduct experiments (e.g. A/B testing) to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes
  • Present complex findings in a clear, actionable way through visualizations, dashboards, interactive applications, or technical reports
  • Create and maintain production-ready pipelines for data science models
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence and Data Engineering teams to improve data quality, define key metrics, and develop reusable data assets
  • Mentor analysts and other self-service data consumers in advanced statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Detect anomalies, forecast key business trends, and provide proactive recommendations


Other Skills & Abilities

  • Strong programming skills in Python or R; familiarity with Julia or similar languages is a plus
  • Prior experience making or publishing analytical web apps (e.g. Shiny, Streamlit)
  • Proficiency with machine learning libraries and frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Advanced knowledge of statistics, experimental design, and predictive modeling
  • Skilled in SQL and comfortable working with large datasets
  • Familiarity with deploying and maintaining models in production
  • Comfortable with BI tools and integrating data science outputs into business processes


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, applied math, data science, or a related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a related role
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end machine learning, optimization, or forecasting solutions


Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
