  • Proactively monitor regulatory guidance issued by the SEC, CFTC, FCA, ESMA, and other authorities; perform impact assessments and translate regulatory change into actionable operational updates ahead of effective dates
  • Act as the internal escalation authority for complex data exceptions, regulatory interpretation questions, and edgecase filing scenarios, partnering closely with clients and external teams as needed
  • Lead postsubmission quality reviews and rootcause analyses, producing structured findings and remediation plans that measurably reduce risk recurrence
  • Operate as a primary senior point of contact for a portfolio of institutional hedge fund clients, providing proactive, solutionsoriented guidance on regulatory obligations, data requirements, and emerging regulatory developments

  • Provide structured mentorship and daytoday technical guidance to Analysts and Consultants, fostering deep subjectmatter expertise and professional growth
  • Support Managers in workload planning, quality review, capacity management, and onboarding of new mandates and team members
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of internal training programs, regulatory knowledge resources, and onboarding materials
  • Represent the Reporting function in crossdivisional initiatives and firmwide regulatory programs, translating complex requirements for both technical and nontechnical audiences

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred
  • 4 6 years of progressive experience in regulatory reporting, fund administration, investment operations, or a closely related financial services function
  • Deep expertise in at least two regulatory frameworks relevant to alternative investments (e.g., Form PF, AIFMD, CPOPQR, SEC Form ADV, TIC), with working knowledge of a broader regulatory landscape
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one analytical or scripting environment (Python, SQL, or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex, deadlinesensitive workstreams with high precision and accountability
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to synthesize ambiguous data into structured findings and executivelevel communication
  • Strong clientfacing communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats

Preferred

  • Audit, assurance, or advisory experience (e.g., Big Four or similar), particularly within financial services or asset management, is strongly preferred given the roles emphasis on data integrity, controls, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Multijurisdictional regulatory experience spanning U.S. and EMEA regimes and complex fund structures (e.g., masterfeeder, fundoffunds, SMAs, multistrategy platforms)
  • Proficiency in BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx, including experience building operational or executive dashboards
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting regulatory change and independently developing implementation plans and operational responses
  • CFA, CAIA, or progress toward a relevant professional designation; or pursuit of an advanced quantitative or regulatory degree
  • Prior experience in a senior analytical or advisory role at a global fund administrator, bulgebracket bank, Big Four advisory firm, or institutional asset manager
