Full Job Description
We are seeking a Data Management Director within the Chief Data Office (CDO) to lead the Data Produce and Distribute function within Enterprise Data Governance.

This leader will set the operating model for monitoring adherence to Data Management Policy (DMP) requirements governing data production and distribution. The role will establish monitoring and escalation routines, identify systemic and emerging risks, and hold accountable parties responsible for timely remediation. The leader will also oversee independent validation of data checks, including the completeness and accuracy of evidence supporting design and operating effectiveness.

Success requires building an industry-leading data assurance capability that strengthens trust in enterprise data. The leader will direct risk-based assessments, translate findings into actionable insights, and drive improvements in control design, execution, and accountability. This work will reduce data risk, improve data quality, and increase confidence that critical business, risk, and regulatory information is fit for purpose.

In this role, you will:
  • Establish risk-based routines that identify adherence gaps, surface systemic issues, and drive timely escalation and remediation.
  • Oversee independent data assurance through rigorous assessment of data controls and checks, including design effectiveness, operating effectiveness, and the completeness and accuracy of supporting evidence.
  • Drive sustainable risk reduction by converting findings and thematic insights into remediation plans, stronger controls, and measurable improvements in data quality and policy adherence.
  • Influence senior leaders and accountable executives with clear, evidence-based reporting on risk exposure, adherence trends, remediation progress, and decisions requiring executive action.


Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Data Management, Business Research, Analytics, or Project Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience

  • Data Management and Risk Expertise: Deep knowledge of enterprise data management, governance, data quality, control frameworks, policy adherence, and risk management.
  • Assurance and Testing: Experience designing and leading risk-based assurance, control testing, monitoring, and issue-management programs.
  • Leadership and Transformation: Demonstrated ability to lead large, global teams and deliver enterprise-wide transformation in complex, regulated environments.
  • Executive Influence: Ability to challenge constructively, drive accountability, and influence senior leaders across business, risk, technology, and control functions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk and policy matters into clear decisions and actions.
  • Execution and Accountability: Strong record of delivering high-quality outcomes, resolving complex issues, and meeting commitments under pressure.
  • Analytical Judgment: Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information, identify thematic risks, and prioritize action based on enterprise impact.
  • People Management: Experience managing managers, developing senior talent, and building high-performing teams across the United States and India.
