Full Job Description
Responsible for the development and execution of procedures for extracting data from big data platforms in a manner coincident with meaningful results. Develops and enhances complex algorithms and uses knowledge of complex mathematical and statistical methods to analyze and interpret results. Conducts research and explorative analyses to uncover potentially useful data trends which will provide strategic insight into business solutions. Runs simulations and 'what if' analyses keeping in mind the intricacies of big data platforms and their specific run time and capacity planning requirements. What you bring to the role: • Automation & Data Process Improvement: Use Python, SQL and other languages to automate report gathering, cleansing & sending to free up proactive resources from having to execute. • Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets, from multiple sources, including sales, customer behavior, market trends, and internal operations to identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities • Insights Generation: Derive meaningful insights from data analysis and provide actionable recommendations to key stakeholders to support data-driven decision making. • Business Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), providing timely updates on the health of the platform business • Forecasting & Predictive Analytics: Utilize statistical models and predictive analytics to forecast sales, customer demand, and other critical business metrics. • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor performance, market trends, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats. • Collaborative Insights: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and IT, to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights to support their initiatives. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $78,000.00 - $124,800.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range. At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
