Designs, builds, and deploys data-driven solutions that enable advanced analytics, automation, and process optimization for Texas Instruments' Quality and Manufacturing organizations. Partners closely with TI quality engineers, factory teams, and business stakeholders to develop and operationalize data systems that drive improvements in product quality and customer satisfaction.

Establishes scalable data flows, architectures, and software components to ingest, process, and manage structured and unstructured data across internal systems. Writes robust, maintainable Python code to build reusable libraries, APIs, and tools that support automation and insight generation. Applies artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to support root cause analysis, predictive modeling, and smart data access.

Implements best practices for data quality, integrity, and governance, ensuring compatibility and operability across TI's infrastructure. Continuously evaluates and enhances data systems and business processes based on evolving technical requirements and user feedback. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on development skills, and a mindset focused on delivering practical, scalable solutions to real business challenges.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering, software development, or business process automation in a semiconductor or related technology experience
  • Proficiency in Python scripting, including building reusable functions and libraries for internal use
  • Hands-on experience working with SQL and relational databases to retrieve, transform, and manage data
  • Experience developing tools or solutions that support business process automation, data analytics, or customer quality workflows

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related engineering or data-focused field
  • Experience supporting semiconductor quality or manufacturing operations
  • Familiarity with machine learning, AI integration, and large language models (LLMs) in practical applications
  • Experience building internal tools or dashboards using platforms like Streamlit, Power BI, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of TI's internal data systems or previous collaboration with TI quality or factory teams
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL pipelines, and principles of data integrity and scalability
  • Experience working with vector databases and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
