On a daily basis, you'll dive into connecting with potential clients, nurturing initial stage pipeline and will work side by side with a team of Account Executives helping drive opportunities to close.

Responsibilities- Perform research on data center accounts including mapping corporate structure, identifying key decision-makers and influencers, understanding business drivers, recent initiatives, and financials
- Develop key relationships within engaged target accounts, conducting and facilitating conversations that will lead to new or additional opportunities within an account
- Act as the subject matter expert on the deal team for developing project economics and interfacing with the customer's finance and sustainability evaluators
- Manage the opportunity funnel with the Account Executives (AE's), ensuring deals are progressing and updated in Salesforce.com
- Gather and perform economic analysis aligned with customer development plans
- Prepare and give presentations to prospective customers
- Work with the prospects and the account executives to maintain mutual plans ensuring key milestones are on target
- Work cross-functionally with supporting teams to package solutions for customers based on Mainspring's value props
Qualifications- Experience: 3+ years of sales experience, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding quotas. Experience within the data center, telecom, or energy industries is highly preferred
- Sales & Pipeline Management: Proven ability to qualify prospects, navigate the sales cycle, and run effective negotiations. Strong pipeline discipline with a history of consistent CRM hygiene (Salesforce preferred)
- Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with a natural ability to build rapport and manage multi-stakeholder relationships
- Analytical Aptitude: Ability to analyze sales data, evaluate basic financial models, and adapt to evolving market trends
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
$98,000 - $115,000 a year
This is a
remote role with a
65% target bonus. The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee. Along with the base salary, Mainspring offers pre-IPO stock options + benefits.
