Data Center Operations IT Project Manager
The Opportunity:

You know that project managers touch every single part of a business and wear multiple hats: from caring for the client and their meaningful project goals to participating in business development and being a key contributor to their employees' growth. We're looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their mission by taking on a large legacy IT transformation project that will manage the legacy environment and work with clients to transform to a cloud-based platform while modernizing mission applications. As a leader on our team, you'll oversee the delivery of the most advanced digital solutions. As you guide your team, you'll partner with clients to translate client objectives into actionable modernization strategies, leveraging cloud and security expertise. Work with us to define the foundation for the program that stabilizes current operations while building tomorrow's secure, cloud-ready, AI-accelerated enterprise.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience as a technical lead on complex federal IT programs
  • Experience managing data center operations and government procurements for data center equipment of hardware and software
  • Experience with data platform modernization, including Snowflake or AWS native analytics, mission-system O&M, and hybrid datacenter-to-cloud transitions
  • Experience architecting modernization strategies for large legacy portfolios, including migration cohort planning, code-scan interpretation, and refactoring strategies
  • Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, and secure CI/CD pipeline design and architecting modernization pathways involving cloud-native architectures, microservices, and enterprise data platform enablement
  • Knowledge of physical security architectures and equipment, including hardware and software, and configuring physical security tools across multiple site locations connected to the network infrastructure
  • Knowledge of cloud architectures, including AWS landing zones and secure FedRAMP-ready environments
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CompTIA Cloud+ Certification


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience designing AI accelerated migration or documentation workflows
  • Knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements, including NIST 800-53 and RMF, and Zero Trust pattern
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
