As a Data Center & IT Asset Management Systems Engineer, you are a strategic and forward-thinking technology leader who thrives in complex, mission-critical environments and is passionate about building reliable, scalable, and well-governed technology ecosystems. You bring a strong engineering mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement, leveraging data to drive informed decisions, reduce risk, and enhance operational performance. Comfortable balancing technical depth with enterprise-wide collaboration, you communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, influence stakeholders, and translate complex challenges into practical solutions. Success in this role requires intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to strengthening infrastructure resilience, data integrity, security, and long-term organizational effectiveness.

What you will do:
  • Leverage your expertise in data center infrastructure, enterprise asset management, and technology governance to deliver resilient, scalable, and well-integrated solutions that support critical business operations and long-term organizational objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by establishing technical standards, optimizing processes, implementing automation, and enhancing the accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of infrastructure monitoring and asset management platforms.
  • Apply strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex technology challenges, identify opportunities for modernization, manage operational risk, and provide data-driven recommendations that support infrastructure planning and investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity, compliance, governance, and operational excellence while serving as a trusted advisor on enterprise technology initiatives, emerging solutions, and best practices.

What you offer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field required. Advanced degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 7-10 years of engineering experience with enterprise infrastructure management systems, data center infrastructure management (DCIM) platforms, IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions, and configuration management databases (CMDBs). Demonstrated experience leading technical programs, designing platform integrations, and exercising independent engineering judgment in complex enterprise environments is required. Prior experience in critical infrastructure, transportation, aviation, or government technology environments preferred.
  • Possess deep expertise in data center infrastructure, enterprise asset management, and CMDB governance, including power and cooling systems, UPS technologies, cloud and virtualization environments, and IT/OT asset lifecycle management.
  • Leverage strong technical, analytical, and communication skills to develop automated integrations, dashboards, and governance frameworks using technologies such as ServiceNow, Power BI, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, REST APIs, and cybersecurity best practices.

The salary range for this position is $107,000 to $122,000 annually and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, training, specialized skills, and overall qualifications.
