Join Chubb as a Data Capability Product Owner on our Personal Risk Services (PRS) business transformation team and help shape the future of data solutions for our Personal Lines business. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders-including actuarial, data science, and technology teams-to ensure that the data needed on the back end of solutions is thoughtfully designed for on the front end. You will champion the accuracy and completeness of our data dictionary, partnering with squads to define and lay out data product needs into an actionable roadmap that aligns with business objectives.

With a strong focus on core system modernization, you will help craft the future of our data models, databases, and data utilization throughout the Personal Lines business. This isn't "business as usual"; this is the future of insurance. You will have the opportunity to shape how data flows and is governed within a market leader in the P&C insurance industry, ensuring our data assets support innovation and operational excellence. You will lead an agile team, champion automation, and drive alignment with data governance best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of data use for the leader in High-Net-Worth Personal Lines and work closely with data experts.

In this role, you will:
  • Drive the development and execution of a multi-year roadmap for system modernization and data capabilities
  • Own the product backlog, including writing user stories and facilitating refinement sessions
  • Lead a team of direct and matrixed team members embedded in agile, multifunctional teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Actuarial, Data Science, Underwriting, Operations, and IT
  • Ensure alignment with data governance best practices, including data mapping and dictionary review
  • Drive decision-making, remove impediments, and manage interdependencies with other Product Owners
  • Report on Objectives and Key Results and actively participate in agile ceremonies


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-8 years in the P&C industry with deep knowledge of data use in organizations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated strategic and people leadership in cross-functional environments
  • Deep knowledge of data schemas, mapping, and lineage in complex, multi-system environments required; experience with data warehousing preferred
  • Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance required; Personal Lines experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Product, Actuarial, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations, and Underwriting
  • Experience working with agile methodologies preferred


The pay range for the role is $121,200 to $160,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
