Requirements Analysis: Review user stories, data requirements, business rules, source-to-target mappings, and acceptance criteria to identify data and analytics test scenarios
Test Development: Design, build, and maintain test scripts and test data for data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, interfaces, dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytical outputs
Data and Analytics Testing: Execute source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, database testing, report and dashboard validation, and end-to-end data testing across JTMS within a SAFe Agile framework
Defect Management: Document data and analytics defects with detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence, track issues to resolution, and communicate findings effectively to development and data teams
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with developers, data engineers, business analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify data requirements and maximize test coverage
Test Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, SQL validation queries, test data sets, reconciliation results, and traceability matrices aligned with SAFe Agile practices
Agile Participation: Actively engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demonstrations, defect triage, and other Agile ceremonies
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data validation, analytics testing, test automation, data-quality controls, and quality assurance practices
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Data Analytics Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with SQL, Power-Bi, Tableau, data reconciliation, ETL/ELT testing, and validation of dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytical calculations
Core Competencies: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong attention to data accuracy and detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments
Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases, data interfaces, ETL/ELT pipelines, and ServiceNow CWM for Agile test management and defect tracking
DevSecOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated data validation, Jenkins, Git, and DevSecOps best practices
