Position OverviewThe
Data Analytics Technical Expert provides executive-level analytics leadership, business intelligence expertise, and strategic guidance supporting enterprise analytics, performance management, and decision support capabilities.
Responsibilities- Lead analytics modernization initiatives.
- Direct business intelligence and data visualization efforts.
- Oversee performance measurement and reporting frameworks.
- Support project portfolio management and analytics governance.
- Conduct strategic analyses supporting mission objectives.
- Guide teams in the development of advanced reporting and dashboard solutions.
- Present findings to executive stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
- CSPO, DHS Mid-Level Project Management Certification, or equivalent.
- 10 years of relevant experience, or 5 years with a Master's degree.
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Clearance RequirementsApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements. Ability to obtain Public Trust prior to hire and maintain during employment is required.
Work Location: Hybrid - USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)

CompensationThe salary range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
