Job Title: Associate, Software Engineer, Applications

Job Duties: Analyze the client and investment management lifecycle, including client contracting and onboarding, portfolio management, trading, compliance, trade settlement, business operational workflows, and overall reporting platforms to design the best solutions. Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, application design, system development, testing, implementation, and production support. Create technical design documents to describe the planned solution and the upstream and downstream dependencies. Leverage and learn core technologies designed in-house to scale solutions. Four (4) days in office and one (1) day remote per week.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any) or a related field. 36 months of experience in Job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires 24 months of experience involving the following: 1. Web development using web technologies including JSP, JavaScript, and Angular; 2. Java, Multithreading, and Object Oriented programming; 3. SQL databases including DB2 and SQL queries; 4. Git, Azure Continuous Delivery and Integration tools, and Junit; 5. Application of finance fundamentals including the lifecycle of an Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) order; 6. Utilizing Agile methodology and sprints in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); and, 7. Linux

For San Francisco, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$161,637.00 - USD$162,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
